Midterm Fashion Week

Fashion week is an event any fashion phile shouldn't miss but what happens when it coincided with the school's midterm exams week? As for Fashion 4.0, there is just no missing out. The team managed to witness Spring/Summer 2011's upcoming trends from the runways of Phil. Fashion Week without missing out on covering stylish Lasallians who were acing their midterm exams. We also met up with other Lasallians front row at some shows! All the best and let's all pray for those four's!

Trendspotting: Denim

For our first Trendspotting segment, we give you denim blues - a trend which graced spring runways last season and even though now is the time for coats and blazers, the sweltering Manila heat wouldn't have those comfy denims ignored.

Fashion Finds feat. Mandi Garcia

What trend/look were you trying to pull off with your outfit?

Mandi: "I wanted it to be laid back with the pants and loose cropped top but also dressed up for school which is why I added the fitted blazer."

What was your inspiration for the look?

Mandi: "I really didn't have one (laughs) but I guess I really just love matching vintage pieces with updated ones."

Fashion Kickoff

The weather might have not cooperated with us as we bid goodbye to our football field but the fashion sightings during last October first's Kickoff did not fail to catch our attention. Our friends from CSB were also present!

Term Two Fashion Teaser.

When the first week of the second term, A.Y. 2010-2011 opened, Lasallians readily rocked
the hallways by sporting some easy and layered fashion trends perfect for the unpredictable
weather. Fashion pieces such as the shorts, drop-waist dresses, blazers, denim wear,
oxfords, bandage skirts, slings bags, florals, harem pants and tucked in shirts are predicted
to be on-trend until the term ends, just before we enter the summer season.
